Supergiant Games is ready to start technical testing of its upcoming game Hades II. What is interesting for us is the fact that the game has received Ukrainian localization, and it will already be available in the technical test version. Hades II was announced along with many other games at the TGA Game Awards ceremony. It will be a direct sequel to the original game and will be based on ancient Greek mythology. Hades II will take place a few years after the end of the first part. The main character will be Melinoe — Zagrei’s sister and the immortal princess of the Underworld, who possesses black magic. At the same time, the antagonist will be the sinister titan Kronos, who escaped from prison and challenged the Olympians.
The intention to make a Ukrainian localization of Hades II was announced at the very beginning of last year. Back then, the developers started looking for translators to localize the game into Ukrainian and several other foreign languages. At that time, they were talking about translating the game’s textual content – texts, descriptions, and subtitles. According to the developers, the original Hades game contained more than 300 thousand words, and the new part should be even longer.
Before the launch of technical testing, the developers held a stream during which they played Hades II and discussed the game.
