We are looking for an experienced Python Back-end Developer to enrich our Engineering Team. Reporting to the Head of R&D, the Python Back-end Developer is responsible for writing effective, scalable code, developing back-end components to improve responsiveness and overall performance and integrating user-facing elements into applications.

Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience as a Python Developer.
- Experience in iGaming is highly desirable and would be considered as an advantage.
- Expertise in Poetry, Python (3.7), Django 4.x, Django Orm, SFTP, Django Rest Framework, Celery (eventlet, beat), Marshmallow, PostgreSQl, MySQL, S3.
- Knowledge of Rabbitmq, Redis, Aiohttp, Asyncio.
- Good plus: AWS, and Docker would be a great plus.

- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Responsibilities:
- Developing applications with efficient and scalable code.
- Launching applications and offering support post-launch when needed.
- Enhancing the functionality of current systems.
- Participating in every phase of the software development cycle, from initial requirement analysis to testing and launch.
- Conducting comprehensive testing of applications before release to guarantee they are error-free.
- Applying security and data protection measures.
- Upgrading software as newer versions are released.
- Collaborating closely with the Development and Product teams to ensure applications meet design specifications.
- Evaluating and prioritising requests for new features.
- Working with internal teams to grasp user requirements and propose technical solutions.

Would be a plus:
We're on the lookout for a candidate with outstanding skills in back-end development and a minimum of 5 years of experience, preferably gained in the iGaming industry or a related field.

Job conditions:
Hybrid, Monday to Friday from 09:00 till 18:00, 40 hours per week with 60 minutes daily break from the modern office located in SOHO Savoy Gardens in Gzira.
