Launch Labs is seeking for a skilled Senior Backend Node.js Engineer with basic knowledge of PHP to join our growing team.

The Project is an innovative healthcare product dedicated to improving the cognitive skills of the elderly and children. Our mission is to leverage technology to create accessible, user-friendly solutions that help prevent dementia in older adults and support the cognitive development of children.

Requirements:
- proven experience as a Node.js Developer (Middle to Senior level);
- basic knowledge of PHP and experience with PHP applications;
- strong proficiency with JavaScript;
- familiarity with database technologies such as MySQL and MongoDB;
- knowledge of code versioning tools, such as Git;
- excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently;
- strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities:
- lead the technical effort to rewrite the current PHP-based project to Node.js, ensuring high performance, reliability, and scalability;
- collaborate with front-end developers on integrating user-facing elements with server-side logic;
- write reusable, testable, and efficient code;
- stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in the software development industry.
