Now we are looking for an excellent PHP Developer with great experience in Symfony and ElasticSearch to join the client's R&D team.

Requirements:
4+ years of experience in developing web applications using PHP and Symfony framework.
Strong skills and in-depth knowledge of ElasticSearch is a must.
Hands-on experience of RESTful API development and consumption.
Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerisation in general.
Practical knowledge of cloud hosting and infrastructure, preferably AWS.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English is a must.

Responsibilities:
Work in cross-functional teams, to develop and maintain features for our range of brands.
Develop the backend of a modern technology stack: our backend based on PHP and Symfony.
Implement new features together with an agile development team.
Monitor and improve the performance to get the best user experience.
Share your knowledge and experience with developers and other colleagues.
Adapt quickly to changing environments, concepts, and emerging technologies to assist in the future roadmap of our products and consumer experiences.
Staying abreast of the latest developments within PHP.
Demonstrate enthusiasm for the craftsmanship and engineering aspects of software development.
Contribute to processes, documentation, and best practices.

Would be a plus:
Previous studies in computer science or in related fields (statistics / mathematics / business informatics etc.) and further training.
Experience with other languages and frameworks (JavaScript, ReactJS, Node.js, etc.).
Experience with GitLab.
