The US imposes duties of up to 3521% on solar panels from Asia — the region accounted for 75% of total imports

US President Donald Trump’s administration continues its tariff war, which in some cases seems to be hurting the Americans themselves more than other countries. Another such example was the newly imposed tariffs on solar cells from four Southeast Asian countries that were major suppliers to the United States. In some cases, the duties increased to an insane 3521%.
