Cyberpunk 2077 / CD Projekt Red
In the sequel to Cyberpunk 2077, the player will obviously find a lot of interlocutors, as CD Projekt Red is planning the best «crowd system» in the game world.
Leading quest designer at CDPR Pavel Sasko has announced seven open job offers for «the next Cyberpunk», which can be found at in the vacancies section. The studio aims to develop «the most realistic and responsive crowd system than in any game to date». In particular, a realistic NPC system, focusing on their interaction and behavior.
In addition to the improved NPC system, the game will retain the first-person perspective. Previously, the senior animator position was looking for a candidate who would focus on creating a «immersive first-person experience». This makes it unlikely that we will add a perspective switching feature like in GTA 5, which just received an update.

В Reddit players began to speculate on whether the studio should build a new city or better detail Knight City. Some also compared the crowd system in Cyberpunk 2077 to Red Dead Redemption 2 and GTA 5, and wondered if CDPR would be able to surpass the technology that Rockstar is preparing for GTA 6.
In early 2024, CD Projekt Red’s new office began work on the sequel to Cyberpunk 2077, which was codenamed Project Orion. The game’s narrative director Igor Sarzhinsky stated that «2077 was just a warm-up for». CDPR has been increasing resources for the sequel development for some time, and has opened a new division in Boston (USA) to work on it.
