The new instruments will enable surgeries with minimal incisions. Football club FC Rukh, its founder Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy, and Emily Resort supported the healthcare sector by donating UAH 2 million to the Unbroken Center. These funds will be used to purchase a set of cardiac surgery instruments for minimally invasive cardiac surgical procedures.
Details of the initiative were shared in a partnership statement with FC Rukh.
The decision to purchase medical instruments was a response to a request from the charitable foundation “Medical Innovations.” This foundation aids in providing quality medical care to Ukrainians affected by the war, including military personnel. The modern equipment will allow for operations with minimal incisions, significantly improving patients’ rehabilitation process and ensuring medical services meet European standards of cardiac surgery.
“We are always ready to support charitable initiatives, especially when it comes to helping military personnel and civilians affected by the war,” said Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy, founder of FC Rukh. “For us, it is crucial that they have access to quality medical care, and we are glad to be part of this important process.”
The General Director of the First Medical Association of Lviv, Oleh Samchuk, also expressed gratitude:
“We are very thankful to FC Rukh, Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy, and Emily Resort for this charitable assistance. The donated UAH 2 million will allow us to purchase essential instruments for cardiac surgeries. This will help us treat our defenders, many of whom suffer from cardiovascular issues. Earlier this year, Emily Resort also provided support for the purchase of prosthetics for military personnel, and we deeply appreciate their ongoing commitment.”
Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy emphasized that this is neither the first nor the last such collaboration, as FC Rukh will continue to support similar initiatives. Together with his team at FC Rukh and the “Rukh to the Future” Foundation, the businessman remains actively involved in supporting the Ukrainian military.
For instance, in October, they held an auction that raised UAH 10 million for the Ukrainian Armed Forces. These funds were used to purchase medical equipment for a rehabilitation center operating within the Emily Resort complex.
Previously, Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy, along with FC Rukh and Emily Resort, invested UAH 6 million in humanitarian initiatives. These funds were allocated for prosthetics for military and civilian patients through the Superhumans Center and the Unbroken Foundation, as well as for the restoration of the ” Okhmatdyt” children’s hospital.
