Four children try to find their way home after getting lost in the galaxy, having made an unexpected discovery on their home planet.
The latest series in the iconic «Star Wars» universe offers a coming-of-age story, clearly aimed primarily at a teenage audience. The show managed to involve a major Hollywood star in Jude Law, with executive producers Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni, and showrunners Christopher Ford and Jon Watts.
The latter directed the highly successful Spider-Man trilogy within the Marvel Universe, and his previous work was the crime comedy action film «Wolves». Now, perhaps it’s best not to place too high expectations on this Star Wars project, but after the disgraceful «The Acolyte», things can only get better. The series starts December 2 on Disney+ with the first two episodes.

Following «Red Sparrow» and the recent «Canary Black», the new spy thriller starring Keira Knightley continues the trend of colorful bird names and beautiful spies on screen. Even before its release, it was announced that the show would have a second season. How interesting the «Doves» will turn out to be, we will find out on December 5, when all 6 episodes are released simultaneously on Netflix.

This animated series will be the first project within the renewed «DC Universe», particularly its debut chapter «Gods and Monsters».
