February can hardly be called rich in interesting series releases, but the situation with renewals is more rosy. The last month of winter is ready to delight viewers with the third seasons of several hit shows, such as the animated superhero show «Invincible», the psychological drama thriller «Yellowjackets», the satirical anthology «The White Lotus» and the crime detective thriller «Reacher». In addition, Harrison Ford will delight his fans, as he will appear on both small and big screens in February — in the second season of the western «1923» and in the Marvel blockbuster «Captain America: Brave New World» accordingly. «Camera 211» / Celda 211

The story follows a human rights lawyer who must pretend to be a prisoner to survive a violent prison riot. The plot of this Mexican-made series is based on real events that took place in a state prison in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico, on December 31, 2022, when a prisoner riot broke out. It is also a remake of the Spanish film of the same name, which was released in 2009.

«The Åre Murders»

After detective Anna Alander is suspended from her job, she leaves Stockholm and moves to her sister’s house in the ski resort of Åre. When a young woman disappears there, the protagonist can’t stay away, so she starts investigating. But to get to the truth, they will both have to learn to trust each other.

«The Åre Murders» from Swedish filmmakers is a dark Scandinavian crime thriller scheduled for release on Netflix on February 6.

«Cassandra»

Cassandra does not want to be alone again and will do everything possible to prevent this from happening.

When social media first emerged, Belle Gibson and her friend Milla decided to take advantage of the new opportunities and started working on «helping» people get better. As a result, Gibson creates a media empire, and the whole world is watching and hoping that her alternative approach to treating serious illnesses will work. Nothing can stop the heroine until the world around her begins to collapse.

The plot of «Apple Cider Vinegar» was inspired by the book «The Woman Who Fooled the World» by journalists Bo Donnelly and Nick Toscano. The main role of the guru wellness went to Caitlin Deaver, who we will soon be interviewing will be seen in the role of Abby in the long-awaited second season of «The Last of Us». The show will consist of 6 episodes that will be simultaneously released on Netflix on February 6.

«Good Cop/Bad Cop»

Creator and showrunner John Quintana characterized the show as a cross between «Fargo» and the movies «Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery» with jokes in the spirit of «Moonlighting». Well, that’s a pretty bold comparison.

«Zero Day»

Former US President George Mullen was tasked with finding those responsible for a large-scale cyberattack that wreaked havoc across the country and resulted in numerous human casualties. In his search for the truth, the protagonist will have to face numerous obstacles: disinformation, personal ambitions of influential people from the technology sector, the government, representatives of Wall Street, as well as his own sinister secrets. In order to fulfill his challenging mission, Mullen will have to risk everything he holds dear.

After «The Diplomat», Netflix offers another political thriller, this time with a star-studded cast of Robert De Niro, Jesse Plemons, Lizzy Caplan, Dan Stevens and others. On paper «Day Zero» looks like the most ambitious and interesting project among all the series releases in February.

«A Thousand Blows»

The series follows Hezekiah Moscow and Alec Munro, two best friends who have recently arrived in London from Jamaica. While fighting for survival in the brutal world of underground boxing fights in the melting pot of London’s Victorian East End, they encounter a dangerous veteran boxer, Sugar Goodson. The story will also feature the «40 Elephants» — gang, a female crime syndicate that operated in London in the 19th and 20th centuries and specialized in shoplifting.

«A Thousand Blows» — is a new project from British filmmaker Stephen Knight, who was the showrunner and screenwriter of such series hits as «Peaky Blinders», «Taboo» and «See».

«Suits L.A.»

Ted Black, a former New York prosecutor and Harvey Specter’s colleague, has now settled in Los Angeles and runs a law firm that represents the most powerful clients. However, the company is currently in crisis, and in order to stay afloat, Ted will have to cooperate with those he previously despised. «Suits L.A.» is a spinoff of the successful show «Suits», which has 9 seasons and was broadcast from 2011 to 2019.

The story of one of the most famous biblical characters will be retold on February 27 on Prime Video. The first season will tell the story of the future ruler’s early years, and the planned second season will focus on David’s journey as king of Israel.
