3742 electric cars registered in November: what models do Ukrainians choose?

In November 2024, 3742 electric vehicles (BEVs) were registered in Ukraine. Compared to the same period of the previous year, demand decreased by 13%.

Only 18% of the total number of electric vehicles were new cars. In November last year, this figure was 19%.

Passenger cars accounted for the majority of the total number of registered electric vehicles – 3,597 units (96%). Of these, 669 units were new (19%) and 2928 units were used (21%). Among 145 commercial electric vehicles, only 18 were new (12%).

TOP-5 new electric cars in November:

1. HONDA M-NV – 99 units;
2. BYD Song Plus – 86 units;
3. ZEEKR 001 – 73 units;
4. VOLKSWAGEN ID.4 – 71 units;
5. AUDI Q4 e-tron – 35 units.

TOP-5 first-time registered used electric vehicles in Ukraine:

1. NISSAN Leaf – 384 units;
2. TESLA Model 3 – 301 units;
3. TESLA Model Y – 298 units;
4. HYUNDAI Kona Electric – 194 units;
5. KIA Niro EV – 156 units.

Since the beginning of the year, almost 48 thousand electric vehicles have been registered for the first time in Ukraine. 20% of them are new cars, 80% are used cars.
