Paramount has released the first trailer for the action thriller «Novocaine» starring Jack Quaid («The Boys»).
The film focuses on the story of a bank employee and introvert Nathan Kane (Quaid), who has a rare genetic disorder — he does not feel pain at all. This superpower comes in handy when Nate’s girlfriend is kidnapped.
In addition to Quaid, «Novocaine» stars Amber Midfinder («Prey»), Ray Nicholson («Smile 2»), Betty Gabriel («Trap»), comedian Matt Walsh and others.
The film is directed by the duo of Dan Burke and Robert Olsen («Thieves» with Gerard Butler) and written by Lars Jacobson («Day of the Dead: Bloodline»).
«Novocaine» will debut in theaters on March 14.
