It took ZEEKR only 4 months to move from the first teaser of a new electric vehicle to the full launch of a commercial model. The Chinese manufacturer has officially unveiled the new ZEEKR 007 GT electric station wagon in the shooting brake style (a type of car body that combines elements of a sports coupe and station wagon with an extended trunk). The first deliveries will begin in less than a week.
The new product is essentially a sporty version of the hatchback based on the ZEEKR 007 sedan, which debuted in China more than a year ago. Subsequently, the company announced about its intention to sell the new model worldwide under the name 7GT, and the launch was planned for the second quarter of 2025.
The manufacturer describes the ZEEKR 007 GT as a combination of a supercar and a family wagon. The novelty combines power, practicality and luxury comfort within the minimalist design philosophy of Hidden Energy.
As a sub-brand of Geely, the ZEEKR 007 GT is based on the 800-volt SEA platform. The basic range version has a 75 kWh battery with LFP cells that provides up to 650 km (CLTC) and can be charged from 10% to 80% in just 10.5 minutes at a fast charging station.
A long-range version with a 100 kWh battery (NMC) is also available, which provides up to 825 km of range. The car is equipped with two electric motors that allow it to accelerate to 100 km/h in 2.95 seconds.
The car is 4864 mm long, 1900 mm wide, 1460 mm high and has a wheelbase of 2925 mm. The trunk volume is 645 liters and can be increased to 1737 liters with the rear seats folded down.
The interior of the ZEEKR 007 GT offers a full leather interior with NAPPA and all seats are heated, ventilated and massage function. The infotainment system is based on the Qualcomm 8295 hardware platform.
The G-Pilot H7 autonomous control system is based on two Nvidia Orin-X processors, has LiDAR, HD cameras and millimeter-wave radar.
The first deliveries of ZEEKR 007 GT will start on April 20, 2025. Customers will be able to choose from 9 body colors and 4 interior options. The base price is 202,900 yuan (approximately $27615). After the start of sales in China, the model is planned to be launched on the global market.
