The Helsi medical information system has added artificial intelligence to analyze laboratory findings and identify possible health risks.

This was reported by the company’s press service.

What Helsi AI can do

  • The service will not make diagnoses, but will provide information about possible health risks.
  • He will recommend which specialist you can contact.
  • Tips on healthy lifestyles — nutrition, physical activity, daily routine, and good habits will be available.

Limitations

Helsi+ will be able to correctly analyze only the user’s own analyzes, as it takes data from their profile: age and gender. Therefore It is not yet possible to qualitatively decipher the tests of, for example, a child or a parent.

In addition, Helsi+! can only examine general blood and urine tests — this is the first most common request to determine a patient’s health status. The decoding service is currently free.

How it works

The new service will be available to all users of the Helsi mobile application who have allowed their data to be analyzed. The Helsi+ function will be added to the app. To get information, it is enough to upload the results of the analysis in PDF format to the application and the system will start studying them.

Development

The system combines the work of three large teams. One of them has developed a service for interpreting tests,” says Yevhen Donets, CEO of the Helsi Medical Information System.

«It is important that the algorithms do not intimidate the patient, because you can come across various diagnoses on the Internet. The app simply says that there are abnormalities, there is a risk of a certain disease. But it’s not a diagnosis, and there’s no need to panic, write a will, or self-medicate. You just need to come for a consultation»,” emphasized family doctor Dmytro Pempko.

Currently, tests from the three largest networks of laboratories are available for decoding: «Cinevo», «Dila» and «Aesculab».

Helsi — is an electronic medical information systemThe system allows patients to make appointments, diagnostics, tests, vaccinations and order medicines quickly and conveniently, and hospitals to ensure equal access to medical services for all Ukrainian citizens. The system is used by more than 1,600 healthcare facilities and 50,000 doctors across Ukraine. The Helsi mobile application is already used by 8 million people.
