Amazon’s new online store offers «insanely low» prices on consumer goods in exchange for slightly longer delivery times.

The service is called «Amazon Haul» and offers goods for $10-20 or less, trying to catch up with the now very popular Chinese app Temu, whose ads are coming out of every hole.

Amazon Haul accessible is currently only available on mobile devices in beta for the US, and the product list includes electronics, household goods, clothing, etc. The — interface is similar to its analogues and is mainly focused on affordable prices (banners about «insanely low» prices are placed everywhere).

Amazon says that most items will cost up to $10, while some offers will be as low as a dollar. However, buyers will be offered a 5% discount for orders over $50 and 10% for orders over $75 Delivery will cost $3.99 and will be free for orders over $25, but will take two weeks (and will vary by location).

China’s Temu is currently under scrutiny by EU and US regulators due to «risks associated with counterfeit goods, illegal products, and copyright infringement on the» platform. In this case, Amazon assures that all products on Haul are thoroughly tested to ensure that they are «safe, authentic, and compliant with» regulations.
