Відеокарти Radeon RX 9070 / AMD
Information about the technical specifications and prices of the upcoming AMD Radeon RX 9070 and RX 9070 XT graphics cards has been leaked online. Both models of the Radeon RX 9070 series will be released next month and will feature the same Navi 48 GPU, which has 53.9 billion transistors and a 357 mm2 chip area. However, the models will have significant differences in performance.
The Radeon RX 9070 XT will have a full GPU configuration with 64 compute units based on RDNA 4 architecture, 64 Ray Accelerators and 128 AI Accelerators. This card has 4096 stream processors operating at 2400 MHz (game frequency) and up to 2970 MHz (boost frequency). AMD estimates single-precision computing performance at 48.7 TFLOPS.
The regular version of the Radeon RX 9070 has 56 compute units, 56 ray tracing accelerators, 112 AI accelerators, and 3584 stream processors. This model has lower clock speeds: 2070 MHz (gaming) and 2540 MHz (boost).
AMD confirms that both cards will come with 16 GB of GDDR6 memory with a bandwidth of 20 Gbps. Both models use a 256-bit memory bus, providing a total bandwidth of 640 GB/s. It is also worth noting that AMD has confirmed 64 MB of 3rd generation Infinity Cache on both cards. The Radeon RX 9070 XT model has a total power consumption (TBP) of 304 W, while the regular model has a TBP of 220 W. In addition, the PCI Express specification is 5.0 x16.
AMD has also confirmed that the available images are renders. This time there will be no reference cards for the current generation. Other documents clearly indicate «RX 9070 XT AIB Only», which indicates that this launch will be carried out exclusively by board manufacturing partners.
At the same time, the MicroCenter retail store chain has shared information about the prices of AMD Radeon RX 9070 series graphics cards. This information should be taken with caution, and it seems that some of these prices are not final. For example, it is absolutely unbelievable that the ASUS RX 9070 XT PRIME will cost more than $1000, even if we take into account the traditional ASUS markup. However, the information about the two graphics cards from ASRock can give us some idea of the expected cost.
According to the leak, the ASRock Challenger RX 9070 will sell for $649, while the RX 9070 XT Steel Legend will have a recommended price of $699. It is not known if these are the final prices, but the Challenger series usually corresponds to the MSRP level, so this price tag is closer to reality.
Preliminary or temporary prices for RX 9070 from MicroCenter:
It is worth noting that AMD has not officially confirmed any prices for the media. Radeon RX 9070 series announcement is expected on February 28.
