Radeon RX 9070 XT та RX 9070 / AMD
AMD has officially introduced new gaming graphics cards Radeon RX 9070 XT and RX 9070 on the RDNA 4 architecture.
The AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT graphics card has a full Navi 48 GPU with 64 computing units, or 4096 cores. In addition to the CU, the chip has 128 ROPs, 64 ray tracing accelerators, and 128 hardware AI accelerators. The reference card operates at up to 2970 MHz and consumes up to 304 W.
The AMD Radeon RX 9070 has a stripped-down Navi 48 processor with 56 processing units, or 3584 cores, 56 ray tracing accelerators, and 112 hardware AI accelerators. It operates at clock speeds up to 2520 MHz.
The cards are equipped with 16 GB of GDDR6 memory that operates at 20 Gbps over a 256-bit bus and provides 640 GB/s of total bandwidth. There is 64 MB of 3rd generation Infinity Cache, which improves the bandwidth for the GPU. The graphics cards have PCIe 5.0 x16 connectivity. The reference design is shown with two 8-pin power connectors.
AMD promises a 42% performance increase over the Radeon RX 9070 XT compared to the Radeon RX 7900 GRE at 4K resolution with Ultra settings. The 9070 non-XT has a 21% advantage. For professionals, AMD Radeon RX 9000 graphics cards offer a significant advantage over the RDNA 3 line. The average increase in artificial intelligence is up to 55%, with a 16.25% increase in content creation performance. AMD Radeon RX 9070 series will be available on March 6. The RX 9070 XT graphics card will cost $599, while the RX 9070 will sell for $549.
