Тім Кук у проморолику серіалу «Розрив» / Apple TV+
Apple TV+ released a new promo for the second season of the series “Severance”, where the main character is played by the CEO of iPhone manufacturer Tim Cook.
In the video, a somewhat gloomy Cook enters the Lumon Industries elevator, experiences the usual moment for employees of the severed floor
The science fiction series “Severance” is one of the most successful projects of Apple TV+, which has already brought the streaming service about $200 million with its first season . The second season (which, by the way, cost about the earnings of the first) has currently debuted with two episodes, while the rest of the total of ten will be released every Friday, until March 21 inclusive.
Executive producer and director of “Severance” Ben Stiller shared the promo on his account on X with the words:
“This morning I was helping this new guy find his office…”.
Cook in turn retweeted the post and wrote: “Ready for episode 2!”.
The series “Severance” focuses on the macrodata processing department employee Mark Scout, who underwent a surgical severance procedure that separated his work memories from his home ones (while in the office, Mark does not know who he is and what he does in life, while at home he has no idea what happens at work). Problems begin after the mysterious disappearance of Mark’s boss and the arrival of a new colleague Helly, who actively protests against working at Lumon, although her outie consistently refuses to quit.
The main roles in the series are played by Adam Scott (Mark Scout), Zach Cherry (Dylan), Britt Lower (Helly), Patricia Arquette (Kobel), and also old friends John Turturro (Irving) and Christopher Walken (Burt).
Earlier we reported that the scene with Mark running in the second season was filmed for about five months, studying ‘Tom Cruise’s technique’, and also about how a surgical procedure similar to severance works in real life.
