Apple marketing chief Greg Joswiak announced on Twitter «an exciting week» of new Macs. Several new models with M4 chips are expected.
Greg Joswiak did not name any specific models or exact dates. What is clear is that there will be several announcements starting on October 28. That means more than one Mac. The message is accompanied by a short teaser with Apple and Mac symbols.
However, the following appeared online leaks about which models Apple will present in the near future. Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman claims that the company will release «Apple Intelligence on Monday, followed by the M4 Mac launch, and an earnings report on Thursday» and that there should be a «hands-on experience event on Wednesday, meaning that the computers should be announced by then. Insider Sonny Dixon talks about a new Mac mini with 5 USB-C connectors.
From these and other sources, we also know about the possible announcement of a 14″ MacBook Pro with M4 chip and an additional Thunderbolt port, 14″ and 16″ MacBook Pro with M4 Pro and M4 Max, a new iMac M4, Mac mini and Apple Magic Mouse, Magic Trackpad and Magic Keyboard accessories.
Ukrainian volunteer Igor Lachenkov responded to the post with the announcement. He reminded Greg Joswiak that the new MacBooks are already in the hands of sanctioned Russians with a quote from my previous post on this topic.
