The Android version includes features such as offline downloading and saved watchlists. Users will also be able to subscribe to Apple TV+ and MLS Season Pass using the Google Play payment system. However, it will not be possible to rent or buy movies and TV shows through this app. The Android version is also optimized for foldable smartphones.
In addition to Apple devices, Apple TV+ is already available on many smart TVs and streaming devices. A full list of compatible devices can be found on the official Apple website. Subscription price for Apple TV+ service is currently $9.99 per month.
The new Apple TV app will complement other Apple apps that are already available on Android, including Apple Music, Apple Music Classical, and Beats for managing your Beats device settings.
