ASUS prepares ROG NUC 2025: Intel Core Ultra 200 processor and GeForce RTX 50 graphics card

Published by Vadym Karpus

ASUS accidentally leaked info about its upcoming device – the compact gaming computer ROG NUC 15 (2025). The company posted a teaser video on several of its social media accounts, but quickly deleted it. However, this premature reveal of the ROG NUC 2025 exposed some features of the next-gen compact gaming PC, expected to be announced at CES 2025.

The next generation NUC still doesn’t have an official name. The ROG NUC had an Intel 14th generation processor, which the company previously called the Meteor Lake series (later renamed to Core Ultra 100). Its successor, referred to in promo materials as ROG NUC 2025, will likely have a 15th generation Arrow Lake processor (or Core Ultra 200).

However, the biggest update is expected in the system’s graphics component. While the current generation is equipped with GeForce RTX 40 series video cards, such as RTX 4060 and RTX 4070, the next generation NUC 2025 will already have discrete video cards RTX 5060 and RTX 5070.

ASUS confirmed that the NUC will be showcased at CES 2025, but without revealing detailed specifications or approximate prices. If we go by the ROG NUC 2024, this product will remain niche and expensive, with a price around $2000. It’s unlikely that the 2025 version will be cheaper.
