ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) has announced the start of pre-orders for the ROG Flow Z13 2025. This is a 2-in-1 gaming device that can double as a tablet and laptop.
The ROG Flow Z13 2025 has a 13.4-inch touchscreen display with a 2.5K resolution, 180Hz refresh rate, 500 nits peak brightness and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The screen provides 100% coverage of the DCI-P3 color space.
The device can be equipped with AMD Ryzen AI Max 390 (12 Zen 5 cores, up to 5.0 GHz) or Ryzen AI Max+ 395 (16 Zen 5 cores, up to 5.1 GHz). In both cases, the integrated Radeon 8060S graphics is used – 40 RDNA 3.5 computing units. Z13 processors also boast 50 TOPS NPU performance
Depending on the model, the ROG Flow Z13 can be equipped with 32, 64, or 128 GB of 8000 MHz LPDDR5X RAM. This is a unified memory pool that can be dynamically allocated between the compute cores and the graphics core. But the SSD capacity is the same for all modifications and is 1 TB.
ROG Flow Z13 2025 features a new evaporative chamber made of lightweight stainless steel and copper. It provides 54% more motherboard coverage than the previous generation design. The updated cooling system also includes larger vents and two second-generation Arc Flow fans. Interestingly, the engineers have redesigned the route for the air from the fans. Now it passes through a specially designed channel behind the touch screen to reduce the user’s skin temperature during use.
The new device has two USB-C ports (with support for USB4, DisplayPort 1.4 and power), an HDMI 2.1 port, a USB Type-A port, a microSD card reader and a combined audio jack. ROG Flow Z13 is equipped with a larger 70 Wh battery. The manufacturer also offers a larger touchpad and a new Command Center button for accessing system functions. The tablet has a 13-megapixel main camera and a 5-megapixel infrared front camera. The tablet part weighs 1.2 kg, and together with the keyboard it weighs 1.6 kg.
The new gaming ROG Flow Z13 2025 is already available for pre-order at a price of $2099.99 (Ryzen AI Max 390, 32 GB of memory) to $2799.99 (Ryzen AI Max+ 395, 128 GB of memory).
