Asus presents gaming smartphones ROG Phone 9 and ROG Phone 9 Pro in November last year. However, it turned out that this was not enough, and the Taiwanese brand plans to release the ROG Phone 9 FE model. It has already been certified in several countries. Although Asus has not yet disclosed any information about this model, its images and specifications have appeared online.
The Asus ROG Phone 9 FE looks similar to the ROG Phone 9 Pro. The source claims that it will be available at least in Phantom Black color. It will be 8.9 mm thick and weigh 225 g.
The ROG Phone 9 FE will have a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, 16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM, and 256 GB of UFS 4.0 internal storage. The panel will have a peak brightness of 2500 nits (1600 nits in HBM) and Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection.
The camera unit will include three sensors: 50-megapixel main sensor (Sony IMX890 with OIS), 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor, and 5-megapixel macro sensor. The front panel will offer a 32-megapixel selfie camera. The device will have a 5500 mAh battery with 65W wired charging. The smartphone will also support wireless charging.
