Atomfall gameplay trailer — S.T.A.L.K.E.R., Fallout and Outer Worlds is never too much

Rebellion showcased an eight-minute gameplay trailer for Atomfall — a post-apocalyptic survival game set in an exclusion zone (sounds familiar to S.T.A.L.K.E.R. fans).

We hope that this time, the Atomfall trailer won’t be removed like last time. The nearly eight-minute video displays various gameplay elements, as well as scenes from the game, which appears to have become more picturesque since previous trailers. It features quaint cottages, landscapes, colorful characters, and of course, robots. The color palette is vivid and somewhat reminiscent of The Outer Worlds.

Rebellion also shared the minimum system requirements for the game on PC. It will require at least an Intel Core i5-9400f processor with 16 GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 video card with 6 GB. Atomfall will utilize the DX12 API and require 60 GB of free space on the data storage.

“Atomfall is inspired by the real events of the Windscale disaster in 1957, and the story begins five years later in a fictional quarantine zone. … The dark mystery centers on numerous eccentric characters and mysterious organizations inhabiting the quarantine zone. These people have been cut off from the outside world for years and left to fend for themselves, so they are not at all normal. Your interaction with them is crucial and will shape your journey. But be careful, they are not all friendly, and you will need to deal with a set of ranged and melee weapons if you want to survive,” the trailer description states.

The British developer confirmed the release of Atomfall on March 27, 2025, and the game is already available for pre-order here. It will be released on Game Pass, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Windows PC, PC via Steam and Epic Games Store, as well as on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4.
