preview trailer Borderlands 4, presented during The Game Awards in December, was more focused on characters and humor, then new already demonstrates a lot of shooting and destruction of enemies with a variety of weapons. The new game offers a lot of interesting things: sliding, double jumping, and a grabbing hook. There is a lot of action in the game, but there may be less humor.
Back in September, Sam Winkler, the story director of Borderlands 4, said:
«We want to make sure that players and vault hunters become the central characters in our story. We want to create a world that responds to the player’s actions and feels cohesive. While humor remains an important part of the series, we want it to be natural and occur in appropriate situations».
Borderlands 4 is scheduled for release on September 23, 2025. The game already has a Steam page, but there is no price listed yet.
