Activision has announced that Call of Duty: Mobile has been downloaded more than a billion times worldwide since its release. The game, which was released in 2019 for Android and iOS, reached 270 million downloads in its first year.
Despite the success of uhb, Microsoft in its statement to the UK’s Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) in connection with Activision’s acquisition of Blizzard noted that Call of Duty: Mobile «is expected to be withdrawn from the market» after the release of Warzone Mobile.
In response to fan concerns, Activision assured that it will continue to support the game and has a «robust roadmap» of new content and updates for a long period of time. However, the company did not comment directly on Microsoft’s statement and did not specify when the game might be canceled. Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile was released on March 21.
The Season 10 — 5th Anniversary update for Call of Duty: Mobile was launched on November 6. It brought a new map for the «Battle Royale» mode called Krai — a «dense urban landscape at the foot of the Ural Mountains». Each player can return once after death. His team must get to the token and scan it so that the player can return to the game. Players will also be able to buy new passes to get holiday content such as new operator skins, weapon blueprints, and challenge cards.
