In November, Ukrainians registered more than 5.2 thousand new passenger cars. This is 3% less than in November 2023. Compared to October of this year, consumer activity in the Ukrainian car market decreased by 10%.
After Renault’s October triumph, the market corrected, and the Japanese brand Toyota regained the lead. In November, sales of this brand totaled 868 vehicles. Compared to October of this year, sales of new Toyota vehicles increased by 28%, and compared to November 2023, they increased by 2%.
Accordingly, Renault dropped to second place with 533 new cars sold. Compared to the previous month, sales fell by 32%. However, compared to November 2023, sales were up 39%.
Skoda took third place with 514 new cars sold. Compared to October, sales increased by 27%. Compared to November 2023, there was a slight decline in sales – by 1%.
The Volkswagen brand took fourth place with sales of 447 vehicles. This is 23% more than in October, but 6% less than in November 2023.
The top 5 in November was closed by BMW, which sold 305 new cars to Ukrainians. Sales fell by 23% compared to October. However, compared to November last year, the company managed to increase sales by 21%.
For several months in a row, the Renault Duster crossover has been the bestseller. In November, Ukrainians purchased 511 units of this model out of Renault’s total sales of 533 vehicles.
In total, 64 thousand new passenger cars have been registered in Ukraine since the beginning of the year, which is 17% more than in the same period in 2023.
