Citroen has unveiled the updated C4 and C4 X models at the 2024 Paris Motor Show. The new versions of the Citroen C4 and C4 X for the 2025 model year have a more sophisticated look and advanced built-in technologies.
Both the e-C4 and e-C4 X have a redesigned front end with slim LED headlights, a brighter grille and a more prominent Citroen logo. The e-C4 also gets a revised rear end for a cleaner, more aerodynamic look.
Citroen has expanded the color palette for two models, adding Manhattan Green and Mercury Gray to the existing options. The popular two-tone black roof option remains available.
Inside the cabin, an updated Advanced Comfort design is offered with a new 7-inch digital instrument cluster that is added to the existing 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system. This system has also been updated and now offers faster data processing and a more user-friendly interface. It has ChatGPT integration for natural voice prompts and greater interactivity with the car’s digital assistant.
Citroen offers two electric powertrain options for the e-C4 and e-C4 X. The base version is equipped with a 50 kWh battery and a 100 kW (136 hp) motor, which provides a range of up to 355 km for the e-C4 and 360 km for the e-C4 X. The 54 kWh battery combined with the 115 kW (156 hp) engine provides a range of up to 415 km for the e-C4 and 425 km for the e-C4 X.
Both versions support 100 kW fast charging, which increases the range by approximately 10 km per minute and reaches 80% charge in less than 30 minutes. Citroen’s e-ROUTES app helps drivers plan their journeys and find charging stations, reducing range anxiety.
The C4 offers a boot capacity of 380 liters, which can be increased to 1,250 liters with the rear seats folded down. The e-C4 X has a much larger boot with a capacity of 510 liters.
The updated Citroen C4 and C4 X should arrive at dealerships in early 2025,
