Drivers mask their Teslas with logos of other people’s cars — and this is the best upgrade of 2025

Tesla owners are finding creative ways to distance themselves from Elon Musk. They remove Tesla logos from their cars, replace them with emblems of other automakers, and in one case, even use projections on Cybertrucks.

Recently, there has been an increase in demand for stickers with inscriptions such as «I bought this car before I found out that Elon — is crazy». One of the companies selling such stickers said it sells hundreds of units every day as Tesla’s owners try to distance themselves from the company’s CEO Elon Musk.

Recently, the situation has escalated, and the hatred for Tesla has increased significantly. Some Tesla owners fear that their cars may be vandalized.

Now, some Tesla drivers are finding even more creative and ironic ways to distance themselves from Musk than just sticking a sticker on their bumper.

For example, Tesla cars without factory emblems have been spotted on the streets, with logos of other automakers installed instead. This phenomenon is not entirely new, but recently there have been a lot more of these «Teslas in disguise» Teslas.

Some of the owners went even further and came up with an even more inventive way to disassociate themselves from Musk. The Tesla Cybertruck has been seen repeatedly with projected images on the back. They contain appeals not to paint the car with graffiti, as well as the inscription «This truck makes me look like an idiot». You can also see a video with a projection signed «Mussk production», where the double «ss» refers to the Schutzstaffel — the military and political organization of Nazi Germany.

Recently, protests against Tesla and Elon Musk have been gaining momentum around the world, from the United States to Europe, accompanied by demonstrations, vandalism, and even arson. The mass discontent is related to both Musk’s political activity and Tesla’s deteriorating reputation amid falling sales and fierce competition. Across America, protests were held near the company’s car dealerships, where people expressed dissatisfaction with Musk’s influence on the US government. In addition to peaceful demonstrations, there have been cases of arson, shooting through windows, and anti-Musk graffiti on Tesla stores. In France, unknown destroyed 12 Tesla electric carsand in the United States, one of the Supercharger charging centers burned down, and authorities suspect arson, which only confirms the brand’s growing toxicity.
