Dune: Awakening has opened pre-orders — prices, bonuses and content of each edition

Funcom has already opened the pre-order for Dune: Awakening — we officially know which editions are available, how much they cost, and what players will get in each of them.

The day before, Funcon studio published system requirements to try the adventure on Arrakis. If we talk about the game itself, then Dune: Awakening — is about survival in an open world, where you will have to adapt to the harsh conditions of Arrakis, extract resources and fight for survival. The game will work without a subscription, and all add-ons can be purchased separately or together in a season pass.

Thus, the pre-order includes a decorative terrarium with Muad’Dib (an object for the base) and the «Desert Dusk» design, which changes the appearance of weapons, vehicles, and armor. There are three editions available for the game:

• Standard edition — 1 149₴
• Deluxe Edition — 1 549₴
• Ultimate Edition — 1 899₴

What is included in the publication?

Basic Edition — is just a game without additional cosmetic items. It does not include early access to the game or other bonuses that will be available in other editions.

Deluxe Edition:

• The main game of Dune: Awakening
• Season Pass (4 DLC): The first add-on will add Arrakis wildlife-inspired objects to the game, including the Shai Hulud. The other three DLCs will be released later
• Sardaukar Bator Armor — elite warriors will wear it in the game, and now it will be available to players
• Early access for 5 days (subject to pre-order)
• Muad’Diba Terrarium + design «Desert sunset»

Ultimate Edition:

• Everything you get in the Deluxe Edition
• Sand bike design «Twilight Rider»
• Ornithopter design «Rapid Blue»
• Set of buildings «Caladan Palace» — objects from the movie 2021
• Paul Atrid’s distichost outfit from the movie (although Atrid himself will not be in the game)
• Electronic art book (50 pages of concept art)
• Electronic soundtrack (90 minutes of music by Knut Avenstrup Haugen)

One of the most interesting bonuses of the Ultimate Edition is the game’s full soundtrack. It was recorded at the legendary London studio AIR Lyndhurst and will be released by Milan Records, so it will be available on streaming services.

Dune: Awakening will be released on several platforms, including PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series XS The release will take place on May 20, but if you take the Deluxe or Ultimate Edition, you can start as early as May 15. There are only two months left before the release, so it’s time to decide which edition to choose.
