«For quick registration»: Ukraine will launch an electronic queue for medical examinations

Soon, Ukraine will introduce another digital service for people liable for military service. In addition to digital referral to the assembly line, which has recently been launched in «Reserve+», also plans to launch an electronic queue for the WLC. About this said Deputy Head of the Presidential Office Iryna Vereshchuk.

The official told about the next interagency meeting on the reform of the HQCJ.

«Soon, the LCCs will start using electronic queues. So far, it is in test mode»,” said Iryna Vereshchuk.

She added that this week the official plans to visit several RECs to talk to people there in person.

It should be noted that currently, the MLCs operate on a first-come, first-served basis. And the number of people who need to go through the VLC is quite large. However, doctors are physically unable to see everyone in one working day. Therefore, in some cases, persons liable for military service have to spend several days in lines.

«Our goal is to drastically reduce queues and increase speed,» says the official.

It is worth noting that the current implementation of the electronic queue to the MCC raises many concerns among those liable for military service. To book a place in the electronic queue, you have to storm the Defense Ministry’s website at midnight in the hope of making an appointment in 2-3 weeks. There is hope that the electronic registration for the HCV will work better.

Electronic queue at the SEC

As a reminder, at the end of January, electronic referrals to the MTF were launched in the «Reserve+» application. Initially, the new service will be available for those liable for military service who wish to undergo a medical examination of their own free will. But later, it is planned to expand this opportunity to other citizens who already have a call for a military medical examination.

In the future, the reform of the military qualification commission will include automatic exchange of medical information on persons liable for military service between the electronic systems of the Ministry of Health and «Oberig».
