Gigabyte QD-OLED monitors: frequency up to 500 Hz and pixel density of 166 PPI

Gigabyte has announced the release of two QD-OLED monitors with advanced features. The AORUS FO27Q5P delivers a 500Hz refresh rate, the highest in the QD-OLED segment. Meanwhile, the Gigabyte MO27U2 is the world’s first 27-inch 4K QD-OLED monitor with a 240Hz refresh rate and 166 PPI pixel density.

Gigabyte AORUS FO27Q5P

The AORUS FO27Q5P monitor is designed for eSports professionals and FPS game enthusiasts. It delivers smooth motion and sharp images with an industry-leading 500Hz refresh rate. It exceeds the VESA ClearMR threshold (CMR 13000) and is ready to meet the requirements of the upcoming ClearMR 21000 standard.

The monitor will also receive VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500 certification. With support for DP2.1 UHBR20 with 80Gbps bandwidth (2.5 times faster than DP 1.4), the FO27Q5P is compatible with the next generation of GPUs.

Gigabyte MO27U2

The Gigabyte MO27U2 features a 4K resolution and a 240Hz refresh rate. Thanks to its high pixel density of 166 PPI, the monitor delivers sharp images. Support for delta E«2 color accuracy and Pantone Validated certification make it an ideal choice for gamers and content professionals alike.

Both models are equipped with Gigabyte OLED Care technology and enhanced tactical features. Gigabyte OLED Care — is an artificial intelligence-based panel protection system that prevents pixel burn-in and extends display life. Enhanced tactical features include:

• Tactical Switch 2.0: the ability to change the resolution and adjust the 4:3 aspect ratio for optimal display settings.
• Night Vision: Improves visibility across the entire screen, helping FPS players spot enemies in dark areas more easily.
• Black Equalizer 2.0: Provides better illumination of dark scenes and improves game accuracy.

The new Gigabyte AORUS FO27Q5P and MO27U2 monitors will be demonstrated at CES 2025. Their prices and launch dates will be announced later.
