Google оприлюднив топ найпопулярніших ігор 2024 року
Browser puzzle games are more popular than AAA games.
Google published the annual Year in Search report, which shows the most popular search queries in various categories. Among them — a separate ranking of games whose titles were most often searched for in 2024 by users from all over the world.
The first place was taken by Connections, a browser-based puzzle game from the New York Times where players have to find connections between sets of words. Palworld — a survival game with crafting elements and Pokémon-like creatures took second place. The third place was taken by Infinite Craft, a browser-based game where users combine different elements to create new ones.

For comparison, last year’s list topped the list with the role-playing game Hogwarts Legacy. The top three also included The Last of Us series and game, and the Connections puzzle game, which became the first to be released this year. The top ten also included such high-profile releases as Starfield, Baldur’s Gate 3, and Diablo IV.
Google also called the most popular search queries among Ukrainians in 2024.
