Google AI Essentials
2500 Ukrainians will be able to take the course for free Google AI Essentials on the Coursera platform. Participants will gain knowledge about artificial intelligence and will be able to get certified by Coursera.
Today, artificial intelligence is not just a trendy technology, but a tool that is actively changing the labor market. In Ukraine, 73% of people were forced to change their profession due to the war or economic changes. Despite fears of job losses, AI opens up new opportunities for career growth and business development. Google aims to help Ukrainians adapt to the new conditions and use artificial intelligence to their advantage.
The AI Essentials course is suitable for both those who are just starting to get acquainted with artificial intelligence and professionals who want to expand their knowledge and learn how to use AI in their work. The course program explains the basic principles of AI, teaches how to formulate queries effectively and apply artificial intelligence to automate tasks.
The training will last up to 10 hours and will be held online – participants will be able to study at any time and at their own pace.
Registration for the first wave of training has been open since March 18 and will last for two weeks. In this wave, 2500 participants will be able to take the course. To participate in the training, you need to go to the site program and choose one of the partner organizations: Ukrainian Veterans Fund, Veteran Hub, EdEra, Kyiv School of Economics or NGO «Girls».
Then you need to fill out the registration form on the website of the selected organization. At this stage, you do not need to register directly on Coursera. After that, you should wait for confirmation and instructions from the organization or Coursera.
Veterans, military personnel and their families, as well as women will have priority access to the course.
The initiative will include webinars on the use of AI in everyday life and professional development. On March 25, at 18:00, you will be able to join an introductory webinar on the possibilities of artificial intelligence.
