Huawei has officially unveiled the new nova 13 and nova 13 Pro smartphones. These are mid-range devices with unknown chipsets. The manufacturer did not announce them with the rest of the technical specifications.
On the back of the nova 13 is a dual camera. It includes a 50-megapixel main module (f/1.9) and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle module. For self-portraits, a 60-megapixel camera module on the front panel is designed.
The device has a 5000 mAh battery and supports 100 W fast charging. The dimensions are 161.4×75.3×6.98 mm and the weight is 195 g. The smartphone supports satellite communication, but it is currently available only in mainland China. The device runs on HarmonyOS 4.2.
The Huawei nova 13 Pro version has a slightly larger 6.76-inch LTPO OLED display with an adaptive refresh rate of up to 120 Hz and 2160 Hz PWM dimming. The storage options are the same as in the younger model.
In this case, a triple camera is available. It has a 50-megapixel main module (variable aperture f/1.4-f/4.0), a 12-megapixel telephoto module with 3x zoom, and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle module. The device is protected against moisture and dust according to the IP65 standard. The dimensions are 163.4×74.9×7.82 and the weight is 209 g. Other characteristics are identical to the base model.
The new Huawei nova 13 and nova 13 Pro smartphones are already available for order in China at a price of $378 and $519, respectively.
