Hyundai has officially unveiled its new Ioniq 9 electric crossover, a spacious three-row car designed to meet the needs of families.
Hyundai Ioniq 9 in the base version provides a range of 483 km. And with a 110.3 kWh battery, the autonomy increases to 539 km. The new model supports fast charging with a capacity of 350 kW, is equipped with a NACS connector and is able to charge from 10% to 80% in just 24 minutes thanks to its 800 V architecture.
Inside the Ioniq 9, there is enough space to comfortably accommodate up to seven passengers. The wheelbase of 3130 mm is the longest among Hyundai models, which provides legroom in all three rows. The second row can be equipped with either a solid seat or two captain’s chairs.
The interior offers a flat floor, a sliding center console that allows you to adjust the space between the front seats or in the rear. The dashboard features a curved dual 12-inch screen system for the driver’s display and multimedia. The infotainment system supports «over-the-air» updates and includes a Features on Demand store where owners can purchase digital upgrades such as new lighting effects, display themes, and streaming services.
The official price of the Hyundai Ioniq 9 has not yet been announced, but it is expected to be competitive with the Kia EV9, which starts at $55 thousand in the US. Production of the new model will begin next spring.
