Астаріон у секретній сцені Baldur's Gate 3 / Larian / Soft_Stage_446
The exceptionally well-crafted RPG Baldur’s Gate 3 is always ready even for the most unbelievable scenarios that a player can encounter. This scene, as well as the possibility, is extremely hard to witness.
There’s a chance that after several long rests in the third act, a vampire spawn will ambush the player’s camp aiming to return Astarion to his cruel master, Kazador. Reddit user Soft_Stage_446 reports that during this time, one can temporarily become Astarion from any character and see something new, but under a specific set of conditions.
Firstly, you need to trigger the mentioned vampire spawn during each of the long rests. Then the player must allow the vampires to defeat Astarion in battle — this is very challenging, considering the weakness of the opponents. If they manage to defeat Astarion, they will bring him to the breeding kennels of Kazador’s palace. From this moment, even if not playing as a vampire, the player will witness the kidnapping of Astarion with their own eyes.
“If you allow this to happen, the kennel scene will be extremely gloomy, especially if you fail your rolls and see how easy, simple, and perhaps even pleasant it would have been to come back under Kazador’s control,” — ironically writes Soft_Stage_446.
To minimize spoilers, we’ll skip the detailed description, which can be read from the author. Importantly, they point out the possibility of resisting Kazador.
“After this scene, you can choose whether to escape from the palace or ask the rest of the group to ‘save’ Astarion. It’s a great role-playing opportunity and one of those scenes that are well hidden in the game!”
