Apple’s suppliers and partners will start mass production of the new low-cost iPhone SE 4 smartphone in December this year. This was reported by analyst Ming-Chi Kuo. Let us consider what to expect from this model.
According to available information, the next iPhone SE will have the same design as the base iPhone 14 model. The smartphone is credited with a 6.1-inch OLED display and support for the Face ID biometric identification function.
The Apple iPhone SE 4 will also have a newer A-series processor and 8 GB of RAM, which will provide support for Apple Intelligence. At the same time, the device will feature a single 48-megapixel camera, a USB-C charging connector, and the first 5G modem developed by Apple.
The new iPhone SE is expected to be released in the first half of 2025, most likely in March or April. Accordingly, the start of mass production of the device, which is expected in December, is planned with this period in mind. Kuo estimates that Apple’s suppliers will produce about 8.6 million iPhone SE 4s during the first quarter of next year.
Apple released the current iPhone SE in March 2022.
