The Polish brand IRDM has released the IRDM PRO GEN 5 SSD. It is designed to be used by gamers and professionals with high data transfer rates.
The IRDM PRO GEN 5 is based on the PCIe 5.0 interface and provides performance that is almost twice as fast as that of PCIe 4.0 devices. The data read speed for this model is claimed to be 12000 MB/s. Thanks to Microsoft’s DirectStorage technology, the drive is able to transfer data directly to the graphics card, which reduces the load on the central processor. The SSD is available in 1TB, 2TB, and 4TB capacities.
IRDM PRO GEN 5 uses Graphreeze cooling technology, which utilizes a double layer of graphene. Thanks to its honeycomb-like structure, this material dissipates heat 20 times more efficiently than aluminum. This ensures a stable workflow even under heavy loads. The drive is also compatible with external cooling systems.
The new product has a TBW (total recorded data) of 3000 TB. The manufacturer provides a 5-year warranty for IRDM PRO GEN 5.
