Керування Mac жестами за допомогою Apple Watch та WowMouse / Doublepoint
In fantasy, wizards wave their hands around to cast spells. It’s pretty much the same vibe when controlling a Mac with gestures from an Apple Watch and the Doublepoint WowMouse. It looks pretty magical in the video.
Doublepoint WowMouse made its debut in 2024 on Wear OS smartwatches. At CES 2025, the company introduced a version for Apple Watch and Mac. The app allows Apple Watch users to control their Macs by pointing and pinching their fingers, mimicking a mouse.
The WowMouse version for Wear OS is more functional and allows, among other things, control of home lighting and VR headsets. The Apple Watch app initially is limited to controlling Mac computers, but the manufacturer promises to add more features later.
In WowMouse, you can program special gestures, besides the touch of the thumb and forefinger, which mimics a left mouse click. The app can be paused at any time by simply turning your wrist up and making a “click” with your fingers.
The software algorithms have been improved for greater accuracy. Now, WowMouse can accurately recognize gestures and presses with a precision of 94–97% whether the user is stationary or moving. Apple Watch users can download WowMouse from the Apple App Store (requires watchOS 10 or later).
At CES 2025, guests can visit Doublepoint’s booth number 16055 to try out WowMouse and even win an Apple Watch. Everyone else is encouraged to check out how it works on the website or the company’s YouTube channel — it’s magical.
