Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 received patch 1.2 — support for mods, hair salon and 1000+ fixes

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 received a giant patch 1.2, which brought more than 1000 fixes.

Warhorse Studios has released support for mods, technical corrections, and the ability to change Henry’s hairstyle and beard at the local barber. Now KCD2 will have fewer random deaths and, oddly enough, fewer cobwebs in shops.

One of the most interesting updates is a barber in medieval Bohemia. For those who are tired of Henry’s basic hairstyles, you have the opportunity to change his appearance. In the cities of Zheleiov and Kuttenberg, there are barbers who can change the hair on the character’s head and face. The function is purely cosmetic and does not affect the gameplay.

Another important news for PC players is the official support for mods via Steam Workshop. This means that you can now install mods directly from the Steam platform without having to dig through the game files. The modding community is definitely working on the first changes, so we can expect both visual improvements and more global changes to the gameplay soon.

In addition to the new features, the patch has fixed a huge number of bugs and improved balance. Here are some of the most notable changes:

• Players no longer die randomly after getting out of the cart (yes, this was really a problem)
• Combo attacks now deal more damage, making battles more dynamic
• The complexity of mini-games (pickpocketing, lock picking, trading, stealth) has been balanced

• Shopkeepers no longer sell cobwebs (because why were they in stores in the first place?)
