Oleg Gorokhovsky, CEO of Monobank, announced the launch of a new service in the banking app that will come in handy when you need to split a check for a large company.
«Imagine: every Friday you go to billiards with your colleagues. Someone always pays for all the drinks, someone — for the table reservation, and someone — for the kitchen. It’s now very easy to divide these checks between everyone who ate/drank/rested», — Gorokhovsky writes.
In order to use the «Group expenses» service, you need to create a separate group with contacts in the monobank app, then add expenses from the statement (or enter them manually) and distribute them among the contacts.
«You no longer need to copy the card and send it via chat rooms along with a photo of the receipt. The icing on the cake: you can send a reminder from monobank once a day to everyone who has not yet returned the money», — added the head of monobank.
As a reminder, in April Ukraine’s largest neobank has a new design (for the first time in 6 years) — the main screen still displays the card, information about the account status, recent transactions, but in a new design. We also simplified most actions by adding a swipe option and some 3D animation to switch between cards, and merged the statement for all cards.
In August, monobank launched the mono checkout function, which will reduce the checkout time from five to one minute by filling in «boring» data for you. At the same time, you can pay for your purchase with a card from any bank.
