Monster Hunter Wilds and Split Fiction can be played without a video card

Owners of budget computers will be able to play the new hits Monster Hunter Wilds and Split Fiction thanks to «clouds».

This week, four games were added to the GeForce NOW library from NVIDIA. Those who have a weak laptop, Mac, smartphone, or even Smart TV can run hit projects via cloud streaming. This eliminates the problem of high system requirements, and all heavy data processing takes place on NVIDIA servers.

Uncertain too many people use GeForce NOW, which the service was forced to disable affordable tariffs, at least in some regions. Due to its popularity, the cloud streaming service has added the following games to its library:

• Monster Hunter Wilds is an open-world action game from Capcom where players hunt giant monsters in various biomes with an emphasis on cooperative gameplay.
• Split Fiction — is a cooperative hit from the creators of It Takes Two, which has received high praise from critics and players.
• FragPunk is a free-to-play shooter in the style of Overwatch, but with the mechanics of random cards that change the rules of combat.
• Dragonkin: The Banished — a new action RPG in early access that can become a competitor Diablo 4 і Path of Exile 2.

At the same time, GeForce NOW received support for several more games in the new stores, including Ghostrunner 2 and Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 (both in the Epic Games Store), and Prey (Steam, Xbox PC Game Pass).

To try out games in the «cloud», you need to:

• Register on the GeForce NOW website
• Choose a subscription (there is a free option, but it has queues)
• Connect to the game from your Steam or other store
• Launch and play on any device

It’s noteworthy that Monster Hunter Wilds and Split Fiction were added to GeForce NOW because they were released quite recently. For example, Wilds broke sales records by selling more than 8 million copies in the first three days. Capcom’s project has gathered online, more than 1 million players on Steam at the same time. On the other hand, Split Fiction received 96% of positive feedback, as well as the highest critical acclaim and already claims the title of «Game of the Year».
