Motorola’s first laptop: Moto Book 60 debuts with Intel Core 7/5 chips, 14″ OLED chips and price from $782

Motorola has entered a new market for personal computers with the launch of its first laptop — Moto Book 60. This new product combines premium design with high performance, targeting professionals, students and content creators.

Moto Book 60 specifications

The Moto Book 60 laptop has a 14-inch OLED display with 2.8K resolution. It has Dolby Vision, HDR and TÜV certifications. The display reproduces 100% of the DCI-P3 color gamut and supports a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The heart of the novelty is Intel Core 5 210H or Core 7 240H processors. The system includes 16 GB of RAM expandable up to 32 GB, as well as a PCIe 4.0 SSD with a capacity of up to 1 TB.

It is also reported about Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 wireless communication modules, stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, a dual microphone, and a 1080p infrared webcam with a privacy curtain. Wired interfaces are represented by two USB-A 3.2 Gen 1, two USB-C 3.2 Gen 1 (with DisplayPort 1.4), HDMI, a microSD slot, and a 3.5 mm audio jack. The battery has a capacity of 60 Wh and can be charged via USB-C with a capacity of 65 Wh. The Moto Book 60 laptop is made in a metal case with MIL-STD-810H military-grade protection. It weighs 1.39 kg. The novelty is available in Bronze Green and Wedgewood colors, selected according to the Pantone palette.

The device runs on Windows 11 Home operating system and comes with the Microsoft Office Home & Student 2024 office suite. Additionally, Smart Connect — Motorola’s proprietary device synchronization system is offered. It supports Smart Clipboard, Swipe to Share, and File Transfer for seamless interaction with Motorola smartphones and tablets.

The new Moto Book 60 laptop will initially go on sale in India on April 23. The price ranges from $782 (Intel Core 5, 16 GB RAM, 512 GB SSD) to $922 (Intel Core 7, 16 GB RAM, 1 TB SSD).
