National Cashback: payments from UAH 2 will start on October 22

Participants of the beta test of the National Cashback program will soon be able to receive their first payments. About reports Ministry of Economy of Ukraine.

It is noted that from October 22 to October 31, Ukrainians will receive the first payment under the «National Cashback» program. Those program participants who purchased Ukrainian goods in September and received cashback accruals of more than UAH 2 can count on the payment. There were 646,378 such participants, and the total amount of the payment is UAH 37.2 million. Thus, the average payout amount is about UAH 57.55.

Other registered participants of the program either had no accruals or they amounted to less than UAH 2. The condition for cashback payment is to open a special card for payments, open access to transactions on your payment cards and activate the card for payments in «Actions».

The Ministry of Economy notes that the cashback received will not be taxed. The relevant law was adopted by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine (but has not yet entered into force). The cashback can be spent on services such as utilities, medical, transportation, and others. It is also possible to donate to the Armed Forces or buy military bonds.

To recap, National Cashback program is aimed at supporting Ukrainian producers. When purchasing goods from Ukrainian producers included in the program, customers receive cashback in the amount of 10% of the cost of goods from the relevant list. The maximum amount of payments is UAH 3 thousand per month.

To receive cashback from the state, you need to:

1. Apply through the website or mobile application of a bank participating in the program or contact a branch. The following banks have joined the program: PrivatBank, monobank, Ukrgasbank, Sense Bank, FUIB, Abank, Globus Bank, UKRSIBBANK BNP Paribas Group, Oschadbank, Accordbank and Credit Dnipro Bank.
2. Identify the cards you use to pay for purchases and authorize the bank to transfer information about transactions from these cards to participating stores.
3. Open a physical or virtual card to which cashback will be credited.
4. In the Actions section of Services, select a card «National Cashback» for payments.
