Kumait Jaroje / Tesla / Gold Cybertruck
In the United States, the owner of a gold-plated Tesla Cybertruck was harassed after Elon Musk’s unforgettable «gesture at Donald Trump’s inauguration. One of the unknown person’s wishes was a sticker «Nazis f**k off» on the back of the vehicle.
Kumayt Jaroje from Massachusetts bought an electric car last year to advertise his health resort, because it’s probably almost impossible not to notice a gold-plated Cybertruck. The family has been treated with hostility since the car was purchased, but it all culminated in obscene gestures. Jaroj said after the acquisitionHe said that he doesn’t care what haters think about the car, but that he is now seriously concerned about the safety of his family. Not only passers-by, but also those who oppose Musk’s actions, cannot take their eyes off the car.
«Recently, someone tried to cut me off on the road when I was in the car with my children. Then three men got out of the car, gave me the middle finger and started shouting», — the businessman tells reporters.
Tesla CEO has become famous for two like-Nazi salutes: at Trump’s inauguration and the congress of the far-right German party. At this event, he said: «Can you hear me? If so, raise your hand or something like that», and then laughed.
Musk’s haters might dream of personally explaining to the billionaire how wrong he is, but the owners of his products are becoming victims of attacks. Musk’s brand is being turned into a political symbol, even though many people bought Tesla simply as an electric car. Tesla owners could ignore criticism on the Internet or from passersby, but attacks are harder to ignore.
Attacks on Cybertruck are not new — no known attacks in summer, painted cars with the inscriptions «F**k Elon». The brand new electric cars were waiting to be shipped to customers, but they ended up being caught up in a wave of hatred for Musk.
This is absolutely CRAZY.
Someone vandalized almost a whole parking lot of BRAND NEW Cybertrucks in Florida.
Can’t believe there’s people out there who would do these things. pic.twitter.com/BJ5l07k2m4
