New electric car – an average portrait of Chinese cars bought by Ukrainians: which models are the most popular

In November 2024, Ukrainians purchased 822 passenger cars imported from China. This is 37% less than in the same period of the previous year.

Most Chinese cars enter Ukraine new – 698 units or 85% of the total. Thus, cars of Chinese origin accounted for 13% of the of the new passenger car market. At the same time, the volume of purchases of new cars from China decreased by 23%.

There were 124 used cars (15%). There was a significant drop in sales in this category – by 69%. In the segment of used cars that were registered in Ukraine for the first time, the share of «Chinese» in November was less than 1%.

The vast majority of passenger cars from China were electric cars – 80%.
