Disney and Lucasfilm have revealed new footage from «The Mandalorian and Grog» at this year’s Star Wars Celebration, which offers, among other things the first look at Sigourney Weaver in «Star Wars» and the already well-known baby Yoda and Dean Jarin Pedro Pascal — finally without a helmet.
The full teaser, according to Games Radarshowed a classic action movie in the style of the first season of «Mandalorian», where Jarin fought his way through a group of soldiers on a ship, and later the character Weaver informed Mando that he now works for them. Grog, meanwhile, demonstrated his strength several times: first to steal some food, and later to destroy a droid; and at the end of the video, Jeremy Allen White appears as an adult Rotta Gatt.
Screenshots that appeared online after the event, as expected, also hint that at least a few times in the movie, Mando does without a helmet.

The premiere of «The Mandalorian and Grog» in theaters is scheduled for May 22, 2026. The showrunner is the creator of the original Dean Jarin series, Jon Favreau, and the producers are Lucasfilm Creative Director Dave Filoni and Lucasfilm President Kathleen Kennedy, who has reiterated that «is not going anywhere, despite previous rumors.
«The Mandalorian and Grog» will be the first theatrical release of a Star Wars movie in seven years. Obviously, Disney has high hopes for it — the series starring Pedro Pascal became the face of Disney+ when the streaming platform was launched and received positive reviews (especially compared to other Star Wars series).
The film will continue the story of the Mandalorian bounty hunter Dean Jarin along with his magical assistant Grog, known as Baby Yoda. The plot is still under wraps, but we expect to see such characters as Moff Gideon (Giancarlo Esposito), Bo-Katan Kryce (Kate Sackhoff), Ahsoka Tano (Rosario Dawson) and others.
