New Realme GT 7 Pro screen: more brightness, better color reproduction, lower power consumption

As expected, the presentation of the new Realme GT 7 series of smartphones will take place on November 4. In anticipation of this event, the company decided to introduce one of the key features of the Realme GT 7 Pro phone – the Samsung Eco² OLED Plus display.

It is an 8T LTPO panel that does not have the polarizing layer found in traditional OLED panels, while increasing contrast and visibility. Realme claims that the panel on the GT 7 Pro can reach a maximum global brightness of over 2000 nits and a local maximum brightness of over 6000 nits.

More impressively, despite the high brightness levels, the new panel consumes 52% less power than the panel on the Realme GT 6. Realme also confirmed that the GT 7 Pro covers 120% of the DCI-P3 color gamut, an industry first.

Samsung’s panel offers a hardware-based full brightness DC dimming function with a low flicker rate of 1 fps with uniform colors even in low brightness scenarios. It is also HDR certified and supports Dolby Vision.

The GT 7 Pro’s display will feature a trendy micro-quad curved design with sloping sides. It will also support Qualcomm’s ultrasonic fingerprint scanner.
