NVIDIA RTX 5070 Ti — 16 GB GDDR7, GPU GB203-300, 350 W, updated specifications

Recently, there was an unofficial scoop on the specs of NVIDIA RTX 50xx graphics cards. Since then, more has come to light about the NVIDIA RTX 5070 Ti.

As previously known, the GeForce RTX 5070 Ti GB203 chip will (likely) pack 8960 cores in one of the SKUs. It’s reported that the reference board carries the tag “PG147 SKU 60” and was to have a TGP of 300W. Looks like NVIDIA tweaked the specs a bit.

New info suggests that the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Ti will use the GPU GB203-300, with the specific board called “PG147 SKU 60”. The GB203 GPU is the same chip that will be used for the RTX 5080 (GB203-400). The latter will use its full configuration, whereas the RTX 5070 Ti will sport a “cut-down” version of the processor. This seems better than when the “Ti” variant had a different, lower-class chip compared to the RTX 4080 (AD104 versus AD103). Only the SUPER update offered a comparable chip.

There’s also talk of a TBP increase to 350W. This power supply boost of 50W compared to previous rumors, and 23% higher than both the RTX 4070 Ti and RTX 4070 Ti SUPER — both rated at 285W.

The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Ti will have a 256-bit memory bus, capable of supporting 16 GB of GDDR7. This again is better than the RTX 4070 Ti at launch, which only got 16 GB with the SUPER. The memory will be clocked at 28 Gbps, leading to a total bandwidth of 896 GB/s. This is a 33% improvement in bandwidth compared to the RTX 4070 Ti SUPER.

Looks like the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Ti will be third in line for retail launch after the flagships, instead of the RTX 5070. Currently, NVIDIA’s internal plans are to release all six of their RTX 50 Blackwell products in the first half of 2025, with most of them rolling out in the first quarter.
