Ймовірне зображення NVIDIA RTX 5090 / X
Many gamers are eagerly waiting for NVIDIA RTX 5090, even despite its hefty price tag. But the price reported by X Twitter will disappoint even the wealthiest users.
One of the X users published an image of the price tags for the upcoming RTX 5080 and RTX 5090 in China. And while the price of the former can be considered reasonable compared to its predecessor, the cost of the RTX 5090 is shockingly high.
The recommended retail price of the RTX 4080 in China was 9499 yuan, and the RTX 5080 will cost slightly more — 9999, or $1370. As for the RTX 5090, the price increase is a dramatic 46% — 18,999 yuan, or a staggering $2600 USD. However, prices on the eve of the device launch should be taken with a grain of skepticism. Moreover, some stores might significantly mark up the price.
Initially, only an image with the prices of both cards appeared, and then the full version was added, which appears to be a screenshot from a video. It’s not hard to spot the image of the video card itself. It’s unclear if this is an actual render of the NVIDIA RTX 5090, but it can’t be ruled out either.
Also, on the possible screenshot, one can see the younger video cards RTX 50xx. The numbers next to the year above them may indicate the launch quarter. According to them, RTX 5070 and 5070 Ti are set to release in the second quarter of 2025, and RTX 5060 — in the third.
It was recently revealed that NVIDIA RTX 5090 will have a power scheme and 16+6+7 and a TGP of 600 watts. There are also photos of the RTX 5090 board and processor. NVIDIA Blackwell video cards will be presented at CES 2025 in early January.
